Scheduled fund raisers and service projects
Floral City Kiwanis
Open swim and swimming instruction for physically, mentally, and emotionally handicapped youth and adults, and their families, at Monroe Middle School. Thursdays when school is in session.
This is our annual peanut sale fund raiser. Richard Greer is chair.
We are providing refreshments and prizes, as well as man-power, for the ISD's Halloween Dance. Bill Salow is chairing this event.
Once again we will be selling poinsettias for our Christmas fund raiser. Orders will be due by Sunday, November 20. (You may e-mail your order totals to me.) I am challenging each and every one of you to sell at least 15 plants.
Our club will be putting on one of its bi-monthly meals for the needy Thursday evening at the First Presbyterian Church of Monroe. Workers need to be at the church by 5 PM for setup, or by 6 PM for serving and clean-up.
Club members will be ringing the bell for Salvation Army on two different dates.
Poinsettias will be delivered this morning to each member. Members will deliver their plants to their buyers. All members who are free in the morning are needed to help with delivery.
This is for members and signifcant others.
